August 2004 - This was the first trip to the Sturgis bike week for both Dean and I. It was a long ride out and and long ride back, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Fortunately for us we did noy bring along any women because that would have added about 20% more time to the ride just from bathroom breaks. There were a bunch of vendors, events, and people in Sturgis but to me the real reasons to go to this bike week are the sights within a short ride around Sturgis.

August 2004 - We ended up riding over 1200 miles just doing day trips from where we stayed in Spearfish. Along the way we saw some really cool things as well as some things that are over rated. The affects of bike week reached over a 100 miles in every direction from Sturgis, SD. Here are just a few of the better known things that we saw. All in all we had a good time and we will likely go back at some point.
